Our most popular report: We rate every horse in every race at all major tracks in the U.S. and Canada! With over eight years of development using statistical information unavailable to the general public, we are able to publish the best harness horse ratings available anywhere.

Above is a sample of what the point rating report looks like. As you can see, this is Race #1 at Rosecroft on July 17, 1998. (Note: We rate all horses in a race, however for this example we've included only the top pick.) Below is an explanation of each column in the report:

  • Prog: Program number for each horse (post position stats are used in our calculations, but in some cases the program number isn't the same as the post position). The number on our report is the wagering number, not the post position!

  • Contestant: Horse Name

  • Points: The numerical rating given each horse by the CompuBet process.

  • PRE: This is actually a rating of the data available for each horse, a higher rating means a more predictable race (not necessarily a better horse).

  • Mud: Indicates that the horse has performed better than average on a muddy track.

  • "Q": Indicates that this horses last race was a qualifier.

  • "X": Indicates that the horse broke stride in its last race.

  • >21: Indicates that the horse last raced more than 22 days prior to this race.

  • "Form": Indicates how well the horse has raced in recent races.

  • "I": Indicates that the horse was interfered with in its last race.

  • "CLASS": This is a rating of each horse's performance lately relative to the class of its competition.

  • Fav: Indicates that the horse was the favorite in the last race, but failed to win.

  • Adj Spd: Adjusted speed rating for the horse based on previous performances.

  • Driver: Listed driver (always check for late driver changes - watch the post parade!)

  • Drivers Points: Point rating of driver, added to total points for horse.
